Preparation by Major
Our "Preparation by Major" framework is designed to offer advising tailored to students' specific major or pre-professional interests. Unlike generic, one-size-fits-all advising, our approach focuses on the opportunities and skill areas specific to each field. Students receive specialized advice on coursework, extracurricular activities, and relevant experiences that align with their vocational goals. Our expert advisors provide insights into field-specific milestones, such as research opportunities for aspiring scientists, medical shadowing advice for aspiring pre-med students, or coding projects for future software engineers. This approach not only helps students explore their own interest in a given vocational path, but also gives them a competitive edge in college admissions and beyond.
Whether it's preparing for pre-med curricula, excelling in engineering competitions, building a programming portfolio, or exploring job opportunities in the humanities, "Preparation by Major" equips students with the tools and support they need to succeed. Pre-Med
With our pre-med advising program, you'll have access to advisors who have successfully navigated the pre-med journey themselves. Our pre-med advisors are dedicated to helping students excel in their prerequisite courses, gain meaningful clinical experience, and navigate the numerous possible paths to medical school.
We also pride ourselves on building comprehensive resources tailored to the needs of pre-med students. From materials demystifying accelerated BS/MD tracks to identifying valuable volunteer opportunities, our advising goes beyond the basics to provide practical hacks and insider tips.

Engineering & Computer Science
Our joint computer science and engineering advising program has been crafted by a team of engineers and CS professionals from institutions ranging from Microsoft to the Harvard Open Access Project. Whether you’re exploring coding languages or engineering subfields, our advisors provide personalized guidance to achieve your goals.
For computer science students, we offer tailor-made advising and broader resources for the AP Computer Science series and the USA Computing Olympiad (USACO). Our pre-engineering track provides similar one-on-one mentorship from engineering mentors, with a special eye towards helping students explore the various sub-tracks of engineering.

Pre-Law & Humanities
Our humanities advisors are producing documentaries in the LA film scene, policymaking in DC, and hitting the books towards law degrees. Success and stability in the humanities is attainable, and our advisors—all recent humanities graduates—can share their insights to help humanities-minded students get there. From seeking out research opportunities and fellowships to identifying relevant extracurricular activities, our advisors provide tailored support to help humanities students grow towards their aspirations in the humanities and social sciences.
We understand the concerns some parents have about career prospects for humanities students. That's why our advising goes beyond academic planning to include strategic guidance on choosing the right humanities degree and establishing hard, marketable skills.
